His name was Murph and he was the sweetest.
So there’s this contest going on right now for the city’s signature sandwich. This is what the restaurant across the street from my office are putting up.
It’s beef brisket, marinated in coffee and red wine, with goat cheese, chipotle mayo, jalapeno and tomato on homemade cheddar bread.
I am basically in sandwich heaven right now. This needs to win. Absolutely incredible.

Fiona Apple is amazing. I don’t even know what to say. So passionate, so soulful. She was just perfect. Perfect perfect perfect.
Everything was really great. My sister and I have wicked sister hivemind (literally called each other at the same time, bought the same shirt, share a passion for Magic Hat #9), and it was really awesome going with her since she was the one who originally got me into Fiona back in the day, when I was probably way too young to be singing along to “Criminal.”
Anyway, I want to find a cheap keyboard and re-learn how to play because damn. Inspired.
